Here's some of the travel I've done and will be doing this summer:

I decided not to go home to Charlottesville for the summer after the spring semester ended. Instead, I am staying up in Boston until school starts again in the fall.

I have finally joined the ranks of bloggers who have designed their own blog themes. Wheee.

At some point I'd like to go for membership in the My Blog Actually Looks Nice club, but that could be a little ways off.

I don't abstain from drinking out of any moral code or religious imperative. I'm not rebelling against the norm. I'm not making a statement. I abstain because I 1) hate the taste, and 2) don't want to "lose my mind" (in any sense).

As a geek, I'm sort of expected to own a cell phone (or two!). But I don't have one, and likely won't in the near future. The truth is, I'm a bit of a curmudgeon when it comes to new technology. I'm happy to acquire, play with, and disassemble the latest gadgets, but I won't trust them until they've proven worthy. So what's my beef with cell phones?
