Bike: the anti-sad

Biking is one of the few activities that will get me out of the house, but when I left for the College of Wooster, I had to leave my bike behind. However, my parents took this Spring Break as an opportunity to supply me with a bike at school.

Paw-paw flower buds!

Paw-paw flower bud Our paw-paw trees already appear to have flower buds! They’re still small trees, only a few years old, but we just may get fruit. This is exciting, because paw-paws are one of the few tropical-type fruits you can grow in this climate.

Money-cancelling headphones

Noise-cancelling headphones get a lot of good reviews, and I thought that while I was home on break I might stop by Crutchfield and pick up a pair. I tried them out in the store, and they weren't as good as I expected.

Ana comes back to life

When I came home this Spring Break, I found that Ana, my pet rat, wasn't doing so well. My parents had been taking great care of her, but recently she had been showing signs of stress and deterioration. In the week I've been home, she's perked up and stopped her decline. I'm taking her back to school with me so that she can get the attention she needs.
