Poor rattie

Photo of me with my rats on my shouldersUrtha is the black one on the left.

I didn’t remember to post on my blog when Urtha died. For those of you you don’t know, I raised my rats (Urtha and Ana) from little babies. It was tough having to leave my rats at home. They had been my constant companions for something like 2 years. Urtha had to have a couple of surgeries to remove mammary tumors, and we think a brain tumor is what eventually killed her. My parents took wonderful care of her in her last days. Thank you.

hi Tim! so sorry to hear about your pet. May she rest in peace, hehehe...

Nice site you got by the way, very informative.

Well, she always got anxious whenever Urtha was out of the cage and she wasn't. My parents say that she was a little down for a while, but they've been giving her extra attention.

You know, funny thing. My dad was originally not too happy about me having rats -- his only experience with rats involved big, nasty ones that ate Victor rat traps for breakfast. But after spending so much time taking care of Urtha when she was sick, he's really come to enjoy spending time with them,

Aw, man. I'm sorry. How's Ana taking it?

    Hey, Tim-

It's me, Emily. I think you were annoyed at me last time I called, so hopefully things are going better.

Sorry to hear that Urtha passed away. It's good to hear that Ana is out of her depression, and I'm glad to hear that she passed away among family. Poor girls...

Please don't hesitate to contact me. I hope you're doing well!
