Spring semester courses — hopefully

Well, tomorrow is registration day for the spring semester. I’ve picked out some interesting courses (and alternate choices) — I’ve loaded them into a spreadsheet for your viewing pleasure.

Yes, I’m taking the plunge and going for a “Writing Intensive” course, and English class no less. But Peter Havholm, the instructor, is by all accounts a very cool person.

Good luck with the Intro to Non-Fic Writing man!

Yeah, thanks. I'm keeping to a light course-load, credit-wise, so that I'll have more time to focus on the writing.

Yeah, too bad about yoga. I seem to recall I was writing a lot of good material while I was taking it. (Not while in the class mind you, though that downward facing dog pose would be pretty funny to watch someone try to take notes in.) It’s something about getting stretched out and decongested, like how you can think better after you blow your nose. Lots of writers do some kind of exercise before they write. Yoga tended to be one of the best for me.

Just thought I’d throw that out… though I’ve never known you to be a very stagnant person… or even a still one for that matter. :p

    Peace.
